FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, helping donate surplus food to charities and communities across the country.

They are currently offering work experience in their Nechells depot.

This employability programme lasts for approximately twelve weeks and provides the following:

  • CV and interview support
  • Life skills sessions (such as money management, confidence and job searching)
  • Work experience within our on-site food warehouse
  • Access to employment-related training such as a forklift truck licence (with a guaranteed interview) and food safety

All travel is provided so you will never be out of pocket for attending the sessions.

To take part you must be:

  • Economically inactive – either you have never worked or have not worked for two years
  • Aged 18 and above
  • Currently living in a Birmingham postcode
  • Eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom
