SIA Security Course

Eventcover is offering a 12-day security course that will see learners earn three qualifications, their free SIA licence and multiple guaranteed job interviews. 

To qualify for course funding you must be: 

• Aged 19+ (as of end of August)
• Earning less than £30,000

You must provide details of your age, postcode, working situation and education status before Eventcover can advise on funding.

The training will take place at the NEC training centre, two minutes from Birmingham International bus and train station and with free parking. 

Qualifications:

• Level 2 Stewarding
• Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work
• Level 2 SIA Door Supervisor
• SIA Licence

Requirements:

• Check criminal record. Go to gov.uk and search “SIA criminal record indicator” to check whether you can get your SIA licence.
• English. Minimum Level 1 Functional Skills or equivalent.
• ID. One passport, driving licence, birth certificate or biometric residence permit along with two forms of proof of address.
