Healthcare Assistant (UHB Hospitals)

There is a Band 2 Health Care Assistant (HCA) training & employment programme at University Hospitals Birmingham in August 2024. There are guaranteed interviews for all learners who complete training to a satisfactory standard.

Positions are available at Heartlands and Good Hope. 

Course taster session: Thursday 12 September 2024

Course start date: Monday 16 September 2024

Eligibility criteria:

• Aged 19+
• Living in the UK for 3 years+
• Living in Birmingham or Solihull
• Not in Further or Higher Education
• Right to work in the UK
• Unemployed
• Caring and with a genuine interest in the role of HCA
• Level 1 or above in Lit & Numeracy (We carry out our own assessments at the Hub once the registration process begins.)
