Care work opportunities (Mencap)

Mencap are working in partnership with Birmingham Adult Education Service to recruit and trail for care and support roles. 

You can gain a national recognised qualification and there is a guaranteed job interview once you complete the course. 

Venue: Brasshouse Centre, 1st Floor Library of Birmingham, Centenary Square, B1 2ND

Initial assessment: Wednesday 6 November 2024, 9.30am - 12.00pm

Course date and times: Monday 11 November 2024 until Friday 22 November 2024, 9.30am - 3.00pm. You must attend every day of the two-week course. 

You do not need a vehicle for these roles. 

To take part you must: 

• Be at least 19 years old by 31 August 2024
• Have lived in the UK/EU for at least three years
• Have never been convicted of a criminal offence
• Be available to work shifts between 7.00am and 9.00pm
