Severn Trent Jobs Fair (24 September 2024)

Severn Trent are committed to helping 100,000 customers experiencing water poverty over the next 10 years. Water poverty is when a household spends more that 5% of their disposable income on their water bill.

Severn Trent are trying to tackle one of the underlying causes of poverty by working with their current and future customers to develop their employability skills.

As part of this they have committed to hosting job fairs to bring together like-minded employers to support our community in finding work.  

On the 24 September they will be hosting their third jobs fair in Birmingham at Millenium Point.

They’ll be joined by 18 other employers including Birmingham University Hospitals, Kier and MWH Treatment. As well as promoting live jobs, the event will be a one-stop shop of support for those looking for work including free employability training, 1:1 CV support and a mock interview service that will help break down barriers to work.

When: 10.00am until 2.00pm, Tuesday 24 September, 2024

What: Meet employers, free employability training, CV support and mock interviews. 

All ages are welcome. No need to sign up, just come along on the day.
