Birmingham Children’s Trust is very pleased to announce the appointment of Lee Yale-Helms as their new Director of Finance and Resources.
Lee is currently Director of Finance at Doncaster Children's Services Trust. He is a qualified public service accountant whose career spans 14 years in local government and a further 18 years in public services consulting and advisory roles.

"We are confident Lee’s experience and enthusiasm will add strength to the Trust’s leadership and help accelerate the progress the Trust is making. We had a strong field of applicants for the role and we are grateful to everyone who was interested in joining the Trust."
Lee said: “I am passionate about the importance of good public services and improving outcomes for children. Birmingham Children’s Trust is clear about its ambitions in that respect and I want to play a key role in its improvement journey”.
At Lee’s interview the Trust’s interview panel included young people from Birmingham’s Children in Care Council and Care Leavers’ Forum.
Lee will provide financial expertise and input to the Trust’s strategic and business planning processes and lead the delivery of a range of corporate and support services.
